We wish all our customers and friends a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

We thought the best way to get started in the year is with a ‘catch up’ Barrel Sale, for those of you who were too busy during the Holiday Season or have tried to reach us while we were having a short family break. The first in the range of the Passport 2016 series is in store.

Please note our Winter business hours.

Thank you

We would like to take this opportunity to thanking you all for having given us your trust and loyalty again in the year 2015. It is and remains to be a great pleasure for us serving you and having our occasional chats. We strive to do all to staying informative and to providing you with our star service. Also big thanks to you all who have introduced their neighbors and friends to our winemaking. You have helped us to be selected as one of the best in the 18th annual Kootenay Business Magazine –Best of Business Awards, for which we received a BRONZE 2015 award.

2015 has further been a challenging year with the construction activities on Hall Street and the inconvenience it has caused to all of you. On a positive note, our Cheeky Monkey and  our Cellar Craft brands have proven to be excellent additions to our range and received very encouraging feedback from all our customers that have tried one of these mouth watering blends.

We look forward to an exciting year and hope to see you again soon.

Thanks for all, John and Ineke

First of Passport series in store

The first of the Passport series 2016 arrives the first week of January and ‘what I get is what I got’. Customers who have pre-ordered will receive a call and are guaranteed to have their kit. We ordered a handful of extra kits that are available on first-come-first-serve basis.

We start with Australia that absolutely requires no further introduction as a superb wine producing country. The Murray Darling region in New South Wales and neighboring Riverland Region in South Australia provide the perfect growing conditions for this vibrant blend of grapes that play a key role in Bordeaux style wines: Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. You may expect a rich, fruity wine redolent with cherry, red berry, cassis, spice and vanilla aromas. The palate is generous with black and red berry flavors, notes of herbs and spice, and firm tannins. This dry and medium to full bodied red wine will steal your heart.

This Tuscan treasure charms with bold, rich cherry fruit aromas and flavours of cocoa, vanilla and ripe cranberries. Good tannins and a hint of oak make it a soft, balanced red.
