New ‘Kits’ in Town: Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand

We have introduced a new series of well priced quality kits: Atmosphere. Two months ago we  had the white crisp and aromatic Müller-Thurgau in the spotlight and since we can’t keep them in stock, they fly off the shelves. There are 12 reds, filled with country specific single varietal grape juices and blends and 7 white juices. Meanwhile we have added more Atmosphere to this line up as you will see when you visit the store. From now on you will see Atmosphere more and more. Highly recommended.

Today let’s look into the Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.

Atmosphere: Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand.
You do not always have to have an ancient history to be respected for your wines. Marlborough’s first Sauvignon Blanc vines were planted in 1973 resulting in the first serious commercial wine production about six years later. Within two decades New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc attained celebrity status. Exceptional!

Everything is just exactly right; the climate, the terroir and winemakers that took their profession seriously. The different climate from the northerly regions does result in different style than the wines produced in the southerly regions that have a longer and cooler growing season. This results in vibrant fruity flavors. Crispy wines with flavors of passion fruit, other tropical fruit and gooseberries. Guess what! This is just what you can expect from our Atmosphere.

Combines very well with seafood. Don’t be afraid to add citrus and garlic. Try with a tangy tomato vinegar salad and you will be surprised. The wine can handle it. Or, why not, simply a glass on your deck. What’s wrong with that.
